Class A-Registration for Peer partners

 

• Information you need to know about our Special Olympics Program at WVHS to complete the application form:

  • We are in Region C

  • Peer partners as  Chaperones and Unified Partners

  • “Affiliated Organization” for background check: Special Olympics of Illinois

• Click on the link : https://www.soill.org/class-a-registration/

​

• Click on “Next” at the bottom of the page to begin the training on

  • “Protective Behaviors” and

  • Concussion awareness

​

• Click on the green “Submit” button

​

• Once completed the training, you will need to fill out your personal information using your Illinois ID or Driver’s license

​

• Once you finish filling out the information, you will receive an email from TheAdvocates@VerifiedVolunteers.com

​

• You will receive a link to fill out information for your background check (NO PAYMENT REQUIRED)

​

• You will be asked to give your social security number for the background check, so don’t be alarmed

​

• Once your background check is submitted and processed, you will receive an email with the status of your application

​

• The head coach will receive a list of Unified Partners and Chaperones (Peer-Partners)  who have completed the training and passed the background check.
